Welcome to the Maestro's Blog. I'm Stephen Scovasso, Founder and Artistic Director of SAS Performing Arts Company. Running this company keeps me busy as I navigate the ever-changing cultural scene. As a native New Yorker, I feel deeply connected to the city's arts community. Right now, I'm working on a series of broadcasts for the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, where I'll review performances and talk with community members who are truly the heart and soul of the arts here.

I'll also share reviews and videos of performances by some of the most talented up-and-coming artists in opera, drama, and American musical theater.

I'll also be visiting some favorite restaurants, including Patsy’s Italian Restaurant, Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, Fushimi Times Square, and Baires Argentine Grill.
